Guest linseyja Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 I've managed to delete the shortcuts to the programs on my storage card. Does anyone know how I can restore the shortcuts, or add new ones to access the programs on my storage card. Is there any way to run the .exe files?
Guest Disco Stu Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 Connect your phone to your PC using ActiveSync. Click on Explore then browse to the storage card location where you stored the .exes. One at at time (obviously  ) right-click on them and choose Copy. Now browse to Storage Windows Start Menu. Right-click again and choose Copy Shortcut. At this point you can also rename the .ink to something snappier :) The shortcuts will now appear in your Programs menu. Naturally you could also put them in Start Menu Accessories or Start Menu Games or whatever. You can also do all this with Binary's Smart Explorer without having to attach phone to PC. If you haven't got Smart Explorer, then you're missing out ! www.binarys.com
