Guest Godfather Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 I installed WM2003 a while ago and now my phone is really low on memory. I only have 1.32MB Free. I tried look to see if I could move anything and I can't find anything that I have on the phone itself besides a few WMA ringtones. I have the ringtones on the phone, but when I put them on the card the contacts custom ring can't find them. Why is that? Can it only read WAV's or what? Is anyone else running low on memory? The phone is just running so slow. Also can someone please tell me where I can get the WM2002, I might need to go back if I decide to get a new one from ATT. lol Thanks!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 What phone do you have? I presume it's the MPX200, as for going back to 2002 there is not a legal download available for that either. Custom ringtones have never worked from the SD card on any Smartphone :) If you cannot find what is taking up the memory the best thing to do is a Hard Reset. Normally though things like send and deleted SMSemails are the biggest cause for filling up the phone. Check all folders in the Inbox section of the phone and make dure Deleted Items folder is clear.
