Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Using a card reader try formating the card on the PC using the command manager (cmd on XP)
Guest luvcmaru Posted September 18, 2004 Report Posted September 18, 2004 uhm..i'm kinda a newbie and don't know where to get or even look fot the card reader, or the command manager.. is that a program? if it is can i know where i could download it? or if it's possible what's the step-by-step move that i could do to remove that password thanks
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 18, 2004 Report Posted September 18, 2004 A card reader can be bought from most computer shops for around £10. As for the command editor, in XP click on StartRun then the Run program window opens, in the box type in cmd and select OK, from there you can type "format x:" replace xfor the drive letter of the mmc card. I cannot be 100% this will work as I have not tried a card with a similar problem to you. In your first post you mention you have tried to format already, was that with Binarys Task Manager? if not try this excellent app on your phone, it's available from www.binarys.com
