nice to see a mobile version of the forum but might i suggest a slight blue hue background and a mini version of the logo or something, mobile doesnt have to be plain =)

also a register link would help

i did finally successfully get my m unlocked and on t mobile wish moto would realize how evil att and cingular are both have screwed me and t mobile has been so helpful trying even to get my unlock code from att themselves. after a hour of going through all the same settings (someone here said they wont support our phones well the guy pulled up info on the mpx regardless and tried to help) i foot know if he did something on his side it magically started workinng with no changes

anyhow, first my phone shows 18 sms that dont exist on home screen and on power on always says new text message regardless if i got one, how to fix this?

i have been using agile but everyone show offline unless i try talking then it even says it wont in through then if they reply (they do see it) they show as on. this normal? can you talk to aim on msn i get an error trying to sign up for passport i cant check

also i set up it as gsm modem on my laptop and it worked good for 2o mins or so and now i get a pop error after authenticating, anybody know why?

last but not least anybody try that 2oo3 rom? worth getting? can you customize that operates logo?

Click on the word Phantom SMS for the cure to the above problem.

last but not least anybody try that 2oo3 rom? worth getting? can you customize that operates logo?

If you mean the operator logo on the LCD display this can be customised on the phone as standard, there is a post in this section on how to change this.

As for the ROM it doe not offer any great improvement over 2002 apart from the ability to run .net smartphone applications.

not that anybody replied but i have an answer if anybody else runs into the problem, i dont know whay it worked the first time, but in the init string you add that everywhere just says AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","","",0,0 some howto's mention changing the ap but dont say where.. just fill in the field after ip like so AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet2.voicestream.com","",0,0

as for mms apparently i dont have any mms software so i receive my mms's as regular sms's and cant view the attachments, ive heard of two different mms softwares but i cant find a download anywhere, does anybody pleeease know how to fix this?

The AT&T ROM as you know does not have the MMS application,

Other phones ie Orange had the software with the phones but

as it was only sold to networks directly it is not available to the

public for download.

yea i had only used my sp as a regular phone until now, the past few edays ive been messing with it like crazy and learned a lot but i got a whole new set of problems...

as someone else has posted here i think (is the talk of flashing not allowed altogether? or just links?) to get mms you need any of the generic non at&t 2002 roms, do NOT bother with 2003, it doesnt have mms, and is buggy as hell, im now stuck with 2003 on my phone because i cant find a 2002 rom and i went and tried 2003, DONT DO IT!!

as for the rogue sms fix, good stuff, sooooo annoying turning on the phone to hear the new message sound knowing there is no damn message

thats fine. I got it elsewhere. I now am back to 2002 with mms installed, i was able to add a profile under data connections, but the instructions posted here tell to goto accesories->mms or whatever and add the mmsc there, but i dont have that... any ideas awarner?

Have you actually installed the jmms application? as this

needs to be installed seperately.
