Disapearing files

Hi,

I edited a couple of the xml files and got some pictures and placed them in the following location on my SPV IPSMApplication DataHome

I was doing this so I could customise my homescreen, this took some time I edited the background image the colour scheme and home screen layout on my PC then transfered them to my SPV, I would see what it looked like make a few tweaks and transfer the files again. after copying the files for about the 7th time I went into settings-homescreen and the additional files I had placed in IPSMApplication DataHome were not showing when they had been showing before, I check the folder by exploring my phone through active sync and the files were there, I tried several things including emptying the folder and repopulating it and trying new different files but still only the original default options were there, in the end I ended up doing a hard reset - copied the files back over and everything was working again :?

do you try to lock your xml files?

do you mean as in read only?

It didn't make any difference I tried it with and with out even before the problem at first I gave them read only attributes but got fed up with changing the properties back and forth so took the read only off. The files I am using now are read only
