All Locations Traffic Counter problem

Hi there,

As a previous owner of a Sony P800, and now an owner of a fab C500 I am shocked to find that Windows Mobile does not include a GPRS usage counter. Since then I have downloaded the All Locations traffic counter trial. As probably like most people I am incredibly nervous about my GPRS usage, as I know the costs after my limit are outrageous. For this reason I constantly check how much I have downloaded (should I be checking upload aswell? Are orange customers charged for upload?). I have noticed that the counter sometimes does not work. For example I have gone to a page where i am downloading content, but the counter has not changed. Not even one byte. Have I got the settings wrong? has anyone else found this? Is this a feature? It seems to come and go. Possibly after turning the phone off and on.
