Upgrade Qtek 7070 (Australia)

Hi All,

What are my options for upgrading my Qtek 7070 (This is the Australian/Optus version)?

Here are my current phone details:

Version 3.0 (build 13101)

Radio Version 1.33.00

As far as I'm aware, neither Qtek, HTC, or Optus provide any kind of updates for this phone (at least Oz specific ones). I've read that the iMate ROM upgrade may work, but I can't find where to download the ROM & instructions.

I'd love feedback from owners of this phone on the Optus network.

Operator ROM: 1.4.2.46

MS ROM: 3.0.13101.0

In case anyone is looking for the same info:

I decided to download and install the Orange update (1.6), and it worked fine. After the update, the phone wasn't SIM locked, but it was software locked, so I had to use the OTA unlocking method (http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx), which worked OK.
