C500 or Not C500 that is the question

Hi, hope you like the title!

I have had an MPX 200 that was exchanged by Orange because of poor reception for an E200. This has a lot better reception (usually no lower than 1 bar) and the phone is generally good, but I am annoyed about the very poor battery life. I get 2-3 days with little or no calls and only one day if I make 3-4 calls.

Do I upgrade to the C500 as I have noticed a few threads referring to poor reception, others referring to dust under the screen and a big list of bugs?

It's the same situation as we have seen before m8! I got a c500, and after reading the rave reviews here I was really expecting a dramatic improvement on the e200. After a few weeks I have to say that in my opinion the c500 is way better than the e200 for battery life, reception/call quality seems pretty much the same, and the menus work fairly quickly. However, it is still riddled with bugs. Quite a few of my favourite games don't work. It crashes alot. It is very dodgy for customisation. It doesn't come with a cradle, which is a major bummer.

That said, if you are at the end of your contract, & are not a particularly heavy user, then it is probably worth the small charge to upgrade, if even just for the battery life. But I would suggest if you are a heavy phone user, that this phone is NOT the amazing device it has been reviewed as. In fact, I think my e200 was a little more reliable.

No doubt here!! GO GET THE C500.. it is a super phone, if you take care of it dust should not be a problem, and for the rest...

## it stayes 3 days standby,

## it is extreemly snappier and faster then the E200 (I have that one too here),

## its bluetooth is better and you can leave it on without killing battery life too much!

## nicer screen.. less space between tft and outer cover

## orange theme works better then the E200 thingy

## SD card inside!! so i wont loose 512mb in the pub when i drop it or someone just takes it out when i am ehum not so alert hehe

i can go on for hours haha.. The C500 kills the E200 on all parts.. was trying to think what the E200 could be better in? being bigger, thus more obvious?

Mate.. go for the C500 you be very pleased.. i doubt it if someone can honestly say that the E200 is better or equal to the C500.

btw... did you noticed they are selling the e200 2ndhand for 100 euro's on those auction places here in holland haha.. That is how i got my E200 for 100 euros!! that is also value for money!!
