C500 Battery Life and status?

Hi,

ive had my c500 for nearly a week now and the first battery charge lasted forever (well, also being topped up now and then by activesync of course :) ).

However, my second 'off the wall charge' has given me abysmal battery life! fully charged sunday morning and down to 21% monday lunchtime! phone was used yesterday for a couple of calls, some pics and the missus played some tetris. scary thing is that phone was at 48% this morning at 8am but is down to 21% at 1pm??? i have literally it watching it fall down this morning and the only thing i have used the phone for is to check that battery status (ok, im paranoid!)

any ideas anyone? dud battery?

also why is the power status showing the battery at 'High (21% )'? i wouldnt personally consider that very high :wink:

Did you change the BlueTooth-settings or do you have problems connecting to some IM-service over GPRS? Those two things can also dramatically change the power-consumption of your C500.

i dont use blootooth or gprs yet so they are always switched off.

the only thing i can think off is the gaming from yesterday zapped all the power but that doesnt explain how much it has gone down today. though saying that the battery meter has stabilised at 21% now and hasnt changed since 1pm. but im still a tad worried though :?
