Guest FosterJ Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 ...just thought of a great idea for an application for a smartphone. An app that sits on your PC that lets you compose, send and receive text messages via activesync through your phone. So, basically its just an app that lets you write and send a text but you can write it using a keyboard (plus it looks like you're working instead of playing with your phone  ). Then by syncing your phone you can read recieved messages too. Wow...anyone know if this exists or knows how to develop it? JF
Guest ferret Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 There's lots of apps out there that do this already. (1) There's that program wich allows you to remote contol your phone so you can send them direct from the phone if you were. (2) Jeyo Mobile Companion (www.jeyo.com) (3) Jeyo Mobile Extender - like the above but with Outlook integration (www.jeyo.com) (4) Cool SMS (by AIM I think) (5) Send SMS (by Neil Roody - or similar, my apologies) A forum search and google are your friends now.
