Lost signal and don't know what to do...

I have had my phone for about 2 months now and about 3 weeks ago I went back to college and I live there. I used to get about 2 bars consistently in my room, but just recently I have lost connection in my room and I barely get connection outside....Is there anything I can do? I have even tried hard resetting but that made my phone act even more strange....I dont know what to do anymore....Any help would be appreciated...

Ring your network provider and ask if there are any problems with the local transmitter, it may be that there's a technical fault and your are having to use a transmitter that's further away.

it would be great if you can tell us what do you mean by your phone acting even more strange...

well...the service has been much much better the last couple of days meaning it was a problem with ATT, even though they said it was my phone and not the service when i contacted them....The phone still is acting a little weird from when I hard reset it. It has become slower and even though I did it with a fully charged battery, my battery seems to be draining faster....Other then that, my phone is back to normal and I am happy again.....Thanks everyone.....
