Guest cybercamel Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Don't know if anyone saw this test, but the C500 wins hands down. But the best part of the review was the opening line, "Like a lovechild of Carmen Kass and Stephen Hawking" :) fantastic, never heard a phone described like that. Anyone think of any other analogies to describe their C500?
Guest Confucious Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 I read that quote but I don't get T3 - Can't remember which magazine it was in but it was one of the things that made me get the C500 - I've just had a clearout and dumped all last months magazines so can't find it now but it was in eithre PCPlus, PCPro, Maxim or Stuff magazine where they did a group test of smartphones. Anyone else know where I saw it?
Guest the_ugly_north Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Stuff I believe (page 100). P910 gets 5 stars (Winner) C500 gets 5 stars (pre-production model) MPx200 gets 5 stars
Guest cybercamel Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 From T3 Nokia 7610 - 4 stars Treo 600 - 3 stars Samsung SGH I700 - 3 stars P900 - 4 stars Voq - 3 stars MPx 220 (note 220 but pre-production) - 3 stars Sendo X - 4 stars Nokia 6600 - 4 stars Siemens SX1 - 3 stars and the C500 - 5 stars
Guest Confucious Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 Strange that STUFF and T3 are using the same quotes... But at least both recognise a great phone when they see it :)
Guest TigerNet Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 ...except Stuff had the P910 as the winner!! A P910 test model just came through and it does nothing for me...more plasticky than the P900 and bulkier. It stays in the house...I go out with the C500!!! Cheers Nick
