Just tried to install MyTools, as a tester.

Got the error message that it could not install, as the application is not digitally signed! WTF!!!!

I just tried Speed Reader trial. Same problem - certification. Handango shouldn't do this if it has the Orange logo at the top of the page.

Worth an email from each of us to Handango.

Agreed big problems..let alone the fact I've paid them $20 for a product (IA Album 1.6) that doesn't download and they haven't replied to my queries about it for over 24 hours or fixed the problem.

Btw the trial link for IA Album doesn't work either.

In fairness perhaps you should stop downloading stuff that isnt on the UK Orange catalogue and then complain it doesnt work.

DVD's suffer the same problem with regioning, it just common sense really, just because you can download it doesnt mean it will work in your area.

Orange have more interests than just the UK market so that would account for why their logo is on this section

Thanks

^ the software is digitally signed, and it is handango who are hosting the exe. After you buy the software from IA styles you have to goto the handango website to donwload it.

I dont call that complaining for no reason!

Yes, but you have a UK orientated phone, and you are trying to download something perhaps geared for a US market,,, if Orange wanted you to have it in the UK then it would be on the UK catalogue

Ok then one question.

As the Handango shows the Orange logo it is deceiving but under the each product it states for the windows powered smartphone. Now we all have the orange SPV but does orange actually do another smartphone that the listed software is for?

I would like an explanation from Handango

Just goes to show that they are behind the times. They are dealing with an online market, if they release something then it should be universal. You release somthing on a global network for a localised few then you are discriminating. I would have thought these sort of companies would have caught up with this side of things.

Just bought Tube London. Excellent stuff, with route planner, local info, animated route etc. and full colour tube map. An indispensable little bit of kit.

Slurp and Interstellar Flames I bought as well. Not impressed with Interstellar (looks nice, plays bad) but surely Slurp is the new Tetris??!!!

Its no different than region zoning for dvd's

and us vs europe vs japan with console games

unfortunately until these companies stop doing this then why would orange do any different
