Guest pisquee Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Hi, Dad setting up a new office, and decided it's be easier and more versatile to have the computers networkd over wifi - starting with 2 or 3 machines, then expanding from there. Broadband is ordered, and am holding off on purchases til i am sure the line is ok and it is activated - i have a spare USB modem to check the line out etc. Wanting advice on a good dealer to get the kit from and what kit you recommend - should be low cost, but does the job with firewall built in. I usually use dabs.com, and planned to for this, but figured I'd ask as i have a few days to think beofre it'll be set up. Any other advice as I aint set up a wifi net before?!
