Guest shyne Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 when i go to sim manager it says 'fail to initialize sim, possible radio off or sim failure' wuts wrong?? and how do i fix?? someone help!
Guest the_ugly_north Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 The little lugs may be broken on the sim holder. Place some paper (folded a few times) between the battery and sim card and then try.
Guest hbk5585 Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 na...thats not the problem because that happens to me and my sim card is fine in the phone...it has something to do with WM2003 and the sim card. I don't know why it does this and how it could be fixed either....Does anyone else know?
Guest otacon Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 Have you checked with the service provider whether the sim card can still be used? Or use another phone and insert your sim there. See whether does it initialize. You need to elminate the possibility that your sim is faulty. Then only can you tackle the root problem. Keep us updated.
Guest shyne Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 well it was a brand new sim card, cuz i just activated it
Guest hbk5585 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 i really don't think it has anything to do with the sim card cause my sim card is fine (at least i think it is) and i still get that exact same message when i go to the sim manager...i really think it has something to do with Windows 2003...Does anybody else have any other explanations, comments or suggestions..... Peace
