Guest UnLoCkSmItH Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 its not hard to use.. you can unlock all nokias with this Jus mail me if u dont know how to use it. Calculates unlock codes to remove sim lock from most handsets. and ALL NOKIAS.
Guest Big_Dogg123 Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 How do I use this? I tried PMing you, but it said not authorised
Guest pisquee Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Dog - you need to have a certina number of minimum posts before you can PM
Guest Confucious Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Big_Dogg123 - Have you managed to install it? Once you have it seems pretty straight forward to use (although I've yet to actually try it )
Guest Deako Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 How does this app work? I havent downloaded and tried it yet, but can you unlock phones over BT?? I have a Sony Ericsson T610 that i have sold to a friend after upgrading to a C500 (formerly had an SPV Classic), so can this be used to SIM Unlock that?
Guest Confucious Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 It provides an unlock code which needs to be entered on the phone when using a different SIM. Phones like Nokias use an easy to crack method and presumably this is what this program does (I have not actually tried it yet). Unfortunatly SE and motorola do not use simple codes (which is why it usually costs more to get them unlocked) so it wont work with a T610 :)
Guest Deako Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Not so ideal then. :) Would like to hear from the owner if he can get it working with the t610 though as he does say it unlocks most handsets.
Guest Confucious Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 He won't be able to. Most handsets are Nokias which use a simple algorithm to produce the code,
Guest Big_Dogg123 Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 When I get the code, when do I actually enter it on the handset I'm trying to unlock? Do I insert a different network sim, then just enter the code or what?
Guest Confucious Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 I haven't actually tried it yet but I believe that when you put in a SIm from a network the phone it is not locked to it will ask for the unlock code. I'm waiting for my neice to give me details of her phone so i can unlock it!
Guest Jolotull Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 the application does work i have unlocked 5 phones using it nice :) take out the sim then enter code using the * key for +,p and w on the list of codes i try the top one first then the last one usually works first time remember you only have 5 attempts to get it right cheers jolotull
Guest UnLoCkSmItH Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 to install the application just copy the file to any folder on the phone and in Java menu click menu, install. Once installed all help is in the application. People need to search and use the program. Basically if your phone is a nokia, best way would be to click search by model and then type in the model underneath it. (only numbers, e.g. 6310i just put 6310) then click run calc. Enter the IMEI number of the phone which can be obtained pressing *#06# Now press menu and go to Network List. Scroll down to your country Letter and find your country, e.g. T/U for United Kingdom, Then select your network. Then press menu and CALC. When you have the codes on your screen just press the HELP button which should be the right soft key and it tells you how to enter the code. If more help is required then please post on here. Regards,
Guest mavisdavis Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Thanks for the heads up on doing this UnLoCkSmItH. I just did my mates over msn messenger I'll be welcomed to work with a 4 pack in the morning ^_^ I could of Bluetoothed him the app in the morning......but hey what the hell
Guest UnLoCkSmItH Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 btw this application wont actually unlock the 7600 as it has a hidden menu which forces it to work on 3G. After typin in the code it unlocks the fone but wont show signal on a 2G network. This force mode can only be switched off once the menu is activated(shown) which can only be done via cable and expensive(£150) soft (and soft works on various phones and has various functions). Regards,
Guest LarsDK Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 can this program do 6610i? I have tried to search for it but cant find it in the database..... What about the box serial, do I haver to use that?
Guest CEO Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I think it can not sim-unlock spv c500. I try to do this before but no choice on the menu. Anyone know how to do that?
Guest UnLoCkSmItH Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 No it does not do the SPV's and for the 6610i just enter 6610 You do not need to put letters like i said for example on a 6310i jus enter 6310 regards
