Does anybody know of a smartphone device (symbian or MS) that will allow you to connect more than one bluetooth device concurrently - eg. bluetooth car kit and bluetooth GPS reciever?

I know the Sony Ericsson P800 and P900 do not -

Thanks loads

Apologies but I have read conflicting reports about this -

Darren Griffin (a Contributing Editor of PocketGPSWorld.com) who posts some replys on this site as well as PocketGPSWorld stated elsewhere that the E200 does not support concurrent connections.

I have not read a definitive reply on the C500 apart from reading that some people are having issues connecting a GPS unit via bluetooth to work with TomTom Mobile navigation software.

Confusing situation at the moment, any help appreciated?

The question is whether any devices support bluetooth connections on both a GPS and headset (for example) at the same time

thanks

I can only comment on the C500, but I have used my M3000 headset and fortuna GPS AT THE SAME TIME, as has beersoft, i think on the C500 and E200

Although it can be iffy with for example, the parrot ck3300.

I use this, its a car kit with built in gps. My c500 likes me to connect the gps part before the handsfree profile. If i do it the other way, GPS connects (on the ck3300), but c500 reports that com7 is not available ??

Hope this helps

This appears to be a standard thing, a similar situation happens on the PPC, for example must turn on the GPS unit before starting the application as it appears the app only bonds on startup.
