Guest Viama Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I think this is a bug, because I get the same message even pointing at the storage card. My video settings are set to point at the SD card directly. I still get an error saying that there isn't enough memory. I have a 512mb card!.
Guest Djarid Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I think it spools to phone memory before saving to the card so you have to have enough available program memory. I have found that closing down some applications frees enough memory (normally) to allow you to record v large video files straight to the storage card.
Guest fozzie Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I think you're right there. It's happened to me a few times and I've had to close some apps/tasks before it'll record, even though there's bags of space on the storage card. I wonder if there's a seperate reg entry that could be modded to us the storage card as the temp location? Midnight? :)
Guest dynamo Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Yeah, this is quite annoying... I have it save photos direct to the sd card (as last time i lost a load when they were saved on teh phone and it died). But when i try to record video, after 2 seconds it says 'not enough memory' (even tho there are no other programs running). If i change it to save to the internal memory it records fine...
