c500 / GPRS link now dropping

I've had this fone for a month.....

The little G (beside signal stength) now dispappears once the page has loaded.

It only started doing that today..... Any ideas, cos its a pain waiting to re-connect on each click :cry:

If you go to Settings-Data connections - Menu-Options, you can change the 'idle disconnect after' time from None to 5 or 10 minutes :)

Now acting the way I want it to act :) .....

However, The "None" setting on our other c500 "does exactly what it says on the tin"... eg. no disconnect at all :roll:

You've given me a workaround, but I would prefer that my c500 worked the way it did out of the box :!:

If you use the Smartease Orange Shell app you can set GPRS to work the way it is supposed to - once connected it will stay connected even if not used.

I found that I had more problems with my mail delivery with that ticked (not sure why, maybe something to do with hand-over from one cell to another?)
