(sigh) decisions, decisions...

As posted on howardfourms.com:

I just got two free phones sent to me by Tmobile since I was a customer so long.....One of them was a Siemens CF62T

I must say the phone quality on this thing is AWESOME it leaves my E200 in the dust in that respect Also the reception is so much better which brings me to my next point.

I love the smartphone since I've had mine but I DO find the reception a little lacking.....I mean my E200 can't do what my Nokia 3650 or this phone does with regard to reception. I don't think it's a "hardware problem" with the phone since I have all updates and such. But this places me in a strange dilemma.

I now find myself unable to do without mobile email, NES emulators and such and well just, the all around cool factor of the phone.

SO does anyone know of any smart phones with really good reception?

The Voq perhaps? I heard the XDA II's were really good but they have no keypad, or keyboard, and run a LOT of money. Should I wait till the next XDA's (IIs)or..........perhaps an iPaq?C500? I need help on making a decision. I want the windows mobile OS but I would hate to sacrifice this to have something that handles calls better.......after all isnt that what phones should do before anything else? :?

Any help and opinions would be appreciated.

actually my c500 have the best reception of phones ive had in recent years. I had the xda2 mpx200 and e200 that i used on O2, the c500 is on orange so it could be due to the network, but i can use the c500 in places i cant use the other phones

I was in scotland this summer (yes i know thats a bit strange, scotland don't have a summer they just have a period where it abit rains less) Anyway I was in scotland during their slightly less rainy period in the middle of a vally. My dad's orange Nokia, had signal in parts of the house. My sisters and brothers vodaphones had reception (t610, and 7650) But my e200 didn't. And whats more, when it was out of signal i had to kick it into getting a signal by switching flight mode on and off.

My point is how could a phone so good be so crap? i love my e200 and watching back to the future on it during lectures suits me fine, but If i were you i'd get a c500, and have a backup phone........ just incase.
