Guest vk2003 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 Just a quick question cos I reckon that I am missing something... I have a C500, and a Plantronics M3000 headset. I have successfully paired them, and got voice dial working etc - fantastic. BUT, whenever I switch off the headset (leaving car etc), and then come back to it and switch it on again, I have to go through the whole pairing issue (menu - settings - bluetooth - devices - M3000 - passkey - set as handsfree etc) :?: Is there any way to make the phone remember the headset, so I just switch it on, and off I go again? I have read the instructions, but am a little baffled as to what else to do at this point. TIA for any advice. Cheers VishK
Guest Drew Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 I have the same problem with the logitech. I had to delete and then re-pair my headset this morning. Makes things even more dangerous in the car than using the phone! I'm considering going back to the plug in handsfree. In fact I also find that the shortcut key to Bluetooth only takes me to Settings. Drew
Guest Phil Lee Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 With my M3000 I just make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone and click on the Connect button on the headset. This sets up the connection again. I don't have to go through pairing again.
