Guest Cyclone Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 I know the battery was going low so I threw it in the charger and made a call. In the middle of the call, the phone just turns off. Still plugged into the charger it refuses to turn on. I got it to turn on for a second and then it turns off again. I've used 2 different chargers that I know are good but get nothing from it. At least when it's plugged in, even if the battery is completely drained (Or missing all together) shouldn't it turn on?
Guest Cyclone Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Erf, Got the phone to turn on now, but now it's stuck at the POWERMOTO logo. It just sits there and does nothing.
Guest Pondrew Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Doesn't sound good. Is it possible to hard reset it?
Guest Cyclone Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Yeah, I did get to the hard reset screen but I think its best to just let the phone charge over night and fck with it tomorrow. The person I was talking to isn't picking up their phone now, she probably thinks I hung up on her :|

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Hit No!! sometime it work. Try to http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?p=97945#97945>Hard Reset 2 to 3 time and hit (No) and wait!!! ??? To do a Hard Reset you have to click Yes A hard Reset will wipe the phone's memory though but at least it should get ti up and running again.
Guest sophantim Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Cyclone, (I don't want to lose all of my stuff such as contacts and whatnot) TRY NO 2 to 3 time and than say YES if still not working!!! It work on my phone when i try this!
Guest verbetex Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Something like that sounds like only a hard reset is going to fix. If you want your phone working again, then I think that you're going to have to face losing your data (you don't lose what you have on the SD card) but contacts and messages etc... will be wiped. Hope you get it working again!
Guest otacon Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 However contacts and appointments can be sync into your phone again if you have been using microsoft outlook. at least you don't lose that...
