Mine was having a bit of a problem reading/writing a couple of weeks ago. I solved the problem by formatting my memory card.

If yours isn't reading at all though obviously this wont be possible, the only thing I can think of apart from that is blowing the dust out of it and reinstalling the drivers that came with it.

Actually one more idea, if your using Windows XP with the new patch, check the settings on that.

Hope this provides some sort of help anyway fella :?

have you tried accessing the card using the file explorer (that is if you have a c500, i notice you have pic of c500 but it says e100 in your sig?)

If you have e100 get smartexplorer from www.binarys.com and install it to the phone. Normally i dont recomend installing anything to the phone but you dont have much choice.

Has it ever worked? The reason I ask is that I am unable to use a SD card reader due to an unfortunate combination of PC hardware, mainly motherboard related, that is a known issue with Microsoft. Saying that, I haven't tried the reader with XP SP2. I'll do that right now.

In the unlucky event that you have a similar problem to me and you've never got it to work, post your motherboard and chipset details and I'll see if there's a workaround.

My SD card just pops back out every time i put it in my SPV??? ne1 no wats up wiv it?

the spv has a spring loaded sd card slot, meaning you push it in until it clicks, and push it in for to remove it. it sounds like this mechinsm is damaged, this often happens if you pull the card out, instead of pushing it in to spring it out

With a blunt object ie fingernail start to prise the phone apart at the bottom working your way around both sides untill you get to the top by the IR sensor.

It's fairly easy to do but take your time or you will damage the

clips on the case.
