I Downloaded the latest rom update from the Orange website and began the installation. Halfway through, my computer crashed.

If I switch the phone on it goes through the procedure as if I'd swicthed the phone on trying to perform a hard reset:

Card Found -> Press any key to enter bootloader -> Red/Greeen/Blue coloured screen.

If I 'press any key', I get the menu with the 8. RUU Recover option. If I select RUU recover, the phone reboots and again, I am confronted with the Card Found -> Press Any key etc.

I have also tried running the update in windows again, (with the same installer and a fresh download and on a different PC) but it fails.

Any help would be great.

Unforunately I had a similar experience but I just left the phone in bootloader screen (the tri colour screen), in the cradle, reran the update having ensured the firewall was off, and it worked.
