Clipping music for ringtones

Anyone got or know of any software which i can use to clip bits of songs for ringtones.

for example a 30 sec clip instead of 4 min song...

I use nero wave editor (included with nero 6 ultra edition) you can clip exactly where you want, change bitrate/ volume etc. & convert to wav.

CoolEdit Pro & SoundForge are both awesome pieces of software if you can get hold of either of them. You can do just about anything to any type of music.

i use cool edit pro. handy as i can convert to mono and reduce rate to make thr file smaller

I use Acoustica - brilliant piece of software. Allows you to merge tracks, clip them and change volume, etc
