Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Here are the screenshots Looks interesting and due anythime before Christmas apparently.
Guest chucky.egg Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Yeah, I was looking at these sorts of things a while back for my P900 Other options: Frog Pad $175 (Bluetooth version on pre-order) https://store.frogpad.com/merchant.mvc?Scre...tegory_Code=ALL Stowaway $149 http://www.thinkoutside.com/products/stowaway-bt.html Stowaway looks nice, but I haven't tried it. Says it works with Windows Mobile 2002/3 in the gumpf
Guest squall Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 the stowaway does not work. Its windows mobile 2003 ppc edition unfortunatly. I looked into the frog pads a while back and that also appeared only to work with ppc devices, not wm 2003 smartphone edition, but they didnt reply to my email so im not 100%
Guest chucky.egg Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 'scuse my ignorance, but on their site it says this (below) This may be a really stupid question (I've been away from Smartphone for ages, so forgive me) but are there different versions of WM2003? I thought the whole point about WM was that it was basically one OS for different devices. Smart Phones: Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 or Symbian devices such as Orange, T-Mobile or O2, XDA II; Nokia Series 60 Devices 3650, 3660, 6600 and N-Gage; 3600, 3620 & 6620 are being tested; Siemens SX1; Sony Ericsson P800 and P900; Qtek 2020 (Note that Smart Phones may require a software download and/or a Socket Bluetooth SDIO card.)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Yep no mention of Smartphones such as the E200 etc Windows Mobile does not always mean E200 etc as it states in the same sentance XDA II One basic software but still specifically written for each phone or PPC The problem is still one of drivers.
Guest squall Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 yeah as ash says wm2003 is a group name for the current smartphone, ppc and ppc phone edition os. Smartphones run windows mobile 2003 smartphone edtion.
Guest tiger33 Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 so is this Smatphonemate keyboard the only bluetooth keyboard currently on the way to the market for smartphones (windows)?
