IR Beam / Sync = Low Batt?

Will having IR Beam on and constant sync hookup drain battery life quicker? I know that BT will drain battery life on my PPC. Thanks.

IR can drain faster than BT depending on device.

The C500 has a very good BT stack and so less

battery intensive.

If you sync with a cbale depending on the phone you have you can charge the phone at the same time.

So it is best to keep IR OFF until beaming is required? Yeah, my cable is the direct USB to phone, not a dual charger. Thanks.

There's no point in keepingit on unless you are using it.

So your phone is being charged by the PC unless you have an SPV or E100 (unless you have a sync and charge cable)
