SPV C500 & iPaq 3970 Bluetooth Activesync Question

I am trying to set up Bluetooth Activesync on my iPaq 3970 but appear to have hit a major problem. The Bluetooth serial ports on my iPaq are non-configurable (In=8, Out=5) and the serial ports on the SPV C500 also appear to be non-configurable (In=6, Out=7).

Is this really the case? Does anybody know how to change the com port setting for either device (e.g. via registry settings) or can I really not set up Activesync between these two devices.

You cannot sync the two devices together you need the PC for that.

Also Activsync does not support more than one device

connection at a time.

Hi,

This is not possible im afraid. Both these devices are classed as peripherals.

Activsync needs a host (PC) and a peripheral (Ipaq or Smartphone)

I work with Ipaq's (HP Support) and know this for sure.
