Guest PaulCaden Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 I am trying to set up Bluetooth Activesync on my iPaq 3970 but appear to have hit a major problem. The Bluetooth serial ports on my iPaq are non-configurable (In=8, Out=5) and the serial ports on the SPV C500 also appear to be non-configurable (In=6, Out=7). Is this really the case? Does anybody know how to change the com port setting for either device (e.g. via registry settings) or can I really not set up Activesync between these two devices.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Welcome to the site :) You cannot sync the two devices together you need the PC for that. Also Activsync does not support more than one device connection at a time.
Guest Kaka Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Hi, This is not possible im afraid. Both these devices are classed as peripherals. Activsync needs a host (PC) and a peripheral (Ipaq or Smartphone) I work with Ipaq's (HP Support) and know this for sure. Kaka
