USB Sync Cable for C500 that will NOT charge?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a USB Cable for the C500 which would allow you to sync the phone but does NOT charge at the same time.

Can you buy such a cable from anywhere or modify (snip snip :)) an existing one for this purpose.

I've always been a bit paranoid about keeping my battery in good condition. I don't really like the thought of constantly topping the battery up as I sync it several times a day. Or am I just being stupid worrying about topping up the batt this way?

On the contrary, your battery will degrade quicker if you DON'T keep it topped up, i.e. if you keep letting it drain before charging.

The problem you are worried about is the "memory effect", which only affects Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) (to a lesser extent) battery types, not the Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) type batteries as used in the C500.
