Has anyone got the specs for the SP3i? How different is the Feeler design from the Typhoon? Is the joystick multipress??? :roll:

My C500 is on it's way but I'm considering sending it back if the Feeler has ironed out some of the bugs.

If the Feeler does have all the same bugs, should I just keep my C500 and be done with it? :shock:

If you did a search, and looked specifically in the 'battle of the giants' thread. You would find out the feeler is the same hardware as the typhoon, just in a different case, with a different joystick. The joystic does not have multipress, as this, as has been already explained, is hardware. It does also (at present) have the GAPI bug, which can be fixed by an update (as Orange plan to do with the C500 also)

Well someone got out of bed on the wrong side this morning...

I did do a search and I did read the 'Battle of the Giants' thread and many other related threads. Hardly anyone mentions the HTC Feeler. From what I know, the C500, SDA, SDA Music, SP3 and SP3i (etc) are all the same phone in different cases. Then what is the difference between the Typhoon and the Feeler? Is there a difference? Does the Feeler even exist, or is it a name everyone has been giving to an aesthetic variation of the Typhoon?

Lets clear things up....

C500 = Typhoon

SDA/SDA Music/SP3i = Feeler

So, yes, Feeler does exist, and it is merely a case/controller variation of the C500. Feeler is the codename HTC give to it while they are developing the phone. The main difference between Typhoon and Feeler (besides aesthetics) is that they are available on different networks.
