Just took delivery today of my missis c500, AND! ! !

i have discoverd a fault with my c500, the ring tone volume have gone tit's up!! (gone quiet even on the loud setting in the profile section) any one else had any simliar problems!!!

If you edit the current profile you can change the ring volume within the profile - have you tried that?

Settings- Profiles- Normal- [Menu]- Edit

What you could try is changing the ringtone to another WAV or something and see if that is quiet too.

If it's for your Missis are you sure it just doesn't SOUND quiet next to her?

Have you installed any other programs that use the volume? I found that if I was using PocketMusic with it's volume turned low, it totally overrides the phone's settings. In fairness, I can't remember if this affected the ringtones of not, but I remeber being completely exasparated because even on the utdoor profile I could hardly hear a thing! Was muchos relieved when I discovered this was what was wrong! :)

I have had this problem before on my mpx. when listening to ring tones in the sounds settings they would be really quiet but if i received a phone call everything would then be ok
