Guest ricvero Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Hi guys i just downloaded a mini movie it goes for 10 mins. i try watching it on my smartphone 2 and the voice works great but the picture is too slow. So i used the bench mark tool and what that did was make the movie work nice and smooth but the voice was really really slow. is there anyway to make the movie and voice run fine. the movie clip is about 46mb thanks
Guest topratty Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 sounds to me that you need to re-encode your file mate i use "pocket divx encoder" to encode my movies but i use full films and encode them at around 90meg divx files playback is smooth and crystal clear also i play them with betaplayer another thing to check is make sure you have nothing running in the backround if you install a task manager you can close all tasks before playing your movies
Guest ricvero Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 thanks do you know where i can get "pocket divx encoder" from?
Guest lukeap69 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 virtual dub is also very good. please search in this forum, there are guides on how to convert/encode clips to avi(divx). i know i have a guide somewhere in my pc. pm me if you need further assistance. lukeap
