Registration procedure for Links Golf

Hi All,

I've recently installed the demo of Links Golf and it's great, and I'm very keen to buy the full version - however, I don't want to pay for it, only to find that if I lose my phone, or get an upgrade in a few months, I have to buy the game again.

Can anyone tell me how the registration process works when you buy the full version? Do you just download a full version exe, or do they email you a code to unlock the demo? Can you transfer your code to another phone?

I'm not sure which registration method Hexacto use, but I bought Links and used it on my original SPV (SP2002 OS) and then reinstalled it on my E200 (WM2003 OS) and used the same code (if it needs a code...)

I've never had any problems of software not accepting registration codes on an upgraded phone.

In that case what differentiates the demo version from the full version? Do you download a totally different exe when you buy the full version?

One more question - I've found this game for sale here:

where it's priced at £13.39.

Does this sound reasonable? Are there cheaper places to buy games (sorry, this'll be the first time I've bought a smartphone game, so I'm not really sure the best sites to buy from).

Might be worth checking out www.handango.com (without all the orange stuff) and see if the dollar price is any good.

Yeah, I prefer them to Handango in some ways.

Thanks for the recommendation! I took the plunge, bought it from Smartphone.net - half the price of Handango, at $9.95. I'd be more than happy to recommend them to anyone else.
