Guest gavboy Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I installed Betaplayer on an SD card, so does that mean that I can only watch movies that are stored on the same card that the application is stored? If I open the application from the programs menu when the SD card is not in the slot, i get a message saying can't find... I would like to have movies stored on different cards. Should I store the application on the phone or can you store the application on mulitple cards so that whichever card I insert, I can use the application?
Guest Exploited Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Seems the logical choice to put Betaplayer on the smartphone internal memory and the movies on your various SD-cards. On my C500 it is a hassle to change the mini-SD, but even I have Betaplayer installed on the internal storage.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Best thing to do is depending on cards is to put a duplicate copy of BetaPlayer in the same location on each card so you will always have a copy on hand :)
Guest topratty Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 i was thinking the same question also does betaplayer load quicker if its in the internal memory???
Guest nickcornaglia Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 There are apps that I install on the phone everytime and not the SD card. SmartExplorer, TaskManager, BetaPlayer. This way if I ever need to swap out the card...the app is still working.
Guest gavboy Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Thanks for that. I have so far put all my apps on my SD card but I think I will now put a few key ones on the phone.
