Guest Barry Poo Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Apologies if this has already been covered but there are that many topics I couldn't find anything :) I have recently bought the C500 but can't seem to get the Bluetooth to work? My friends seem able to send/receive files to each other but whenever they try to send me anything it says 'sending failed' I have tried turning the Bluetooth seting to both 'on’ and ‘discoverable' but neither seems to work They can find me when they are looking for devices and I can find them but we just cant send anything either way???? :? They are using both Nokia's and Sony Ericssons Apologies if I'm just being thick - any ideas any one?
Guest Barry Poo Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Has nobody any ideas then please???
Guest RichA Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Set Bluetooth to discoverable. Just above Bluetooth in the settings menu is 'Beam' - go into this and make sure it is enabled :). --Rich
Guest Dr Who Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Word of warning -you will not be able to receive files above a certain limit (best guess is about 500K). Lord knows why.
Guest joelb69 Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 also when you want to send stuff, go to file manager and "send via infra red" (with bluetooth enabled) it will then send it via bluetooth. Joel
