Guest ma77smith Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I'm sure it's a known things (as I have been told the c500 has issues playing games at the moment) however, nearly all the games I download - pool, smartris etc flicker on my c500. Almost like a frequency problem as you can make out the line being drawn down the screen. Does any body else get this playing most games on the c500 ? I hope so and it's not my phone :?
Guest ma77smith Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Come on!! has everyones keyboard broken this week ??? Does anybody else have the same problem :?
Guest Confucious Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I have very few games on my c500 but the only one that flickered was Gringos. In the C500 forum there are threads on which games work. Have you tried looking there?
Guest ma77smith Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 ahh never noticed that before !! thanks for that Confucious
Guest bogusbill Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I know you posted a while ago but I just got into this site as I have exactly the same problem with Gringos and also with All In Hold'Em. Did you find an answer or a fix?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 There is a post about game compatability in the C500 section of the site.
Guest ma77smith Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I know, frustrating isn't it - I was looking forward to playing/buying that pool game, but downloaded the demo and that flickered as well. I'm no phone expert but it looks like a frequency problem !! Looks the same when you see a computer monitor on TV doesn't it (lines going down the screen) Come on Orange/Microsoft - I'm itching to play some games  Matt
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 ma77smith have a look in the C500 section there is a post about what games do and don't work. Also mentioned is that the problem is not frequency related it's a gapi problem. It appears that it's a signing issue with the GAPI file gx.dll that causes older GapiDraw-games to fail on this device.
