Guest rekall Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Hi I am thinking of getting a 512mb miniSD card for my C500 to play mp3/wma's. Any idea how long the battery will last playing normal 128kbps mp3s or 64kbps wma's? I assume the battery is effected by the quality of the recording? Thanks
Guest Dr Who Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 I have been playing 128kbps .wma's and the battery last quite a while. Playing 2 albums a day barely seems to dent the battery life, i.e. can easily go 2 days without a charge.
Guest cyrilthefish Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 well, with my old E100 i once completely drained the battery from 100% to flat in 7 hours playing MP3's constantly (i was in a particually boring temp job at the time) so at the very least you'll get that, probably at least a good few hours more as the battery life on the c500 is miles better :)
Guest patnpm Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 I seem to be able to go from fully charged down to one bar (about 30%) in a single day of light mp3 listening and minimal web browsing with no bluetooth etc. Seems like there is some variability in battery performance!
Guest midnight Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 patnpm, that seems like a duff battery, or, try the hard reset while fully charged trick, there shouldnt be any large variability in battery life as all phones are the same and all batteries are the same.
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I've not tried with MP3's but I have movies playing constantly for 5 hours. So you should get a bit more than this.
