Guest huw.evans Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Hi Everyone, I've just spent an hour twenty minutes in CarephoneWarehouse in Galleries in Glasgow trying to get an MP3 file to transfer via bluetooth. The problem is, the C500 says "Would you like to save the file". I select Yes, and then I can't find the file. If I go into the Microsoft Media Player the new file does not show up on the list of things to play. I have searched the whole device (short of taking it apart and using a magnifying glass :), but I cannot find the file. Does anyone know where a bluetooth transferred MP3 file would be stored. I wanted to listen to an MP3 file to see if the every 10s hiss noise problem reported by others at MoDaCo occured on this phone, but as I can't even successfully get a file onto it, it's been a bit of a wasted journey. Any suggestions of where to look would be great.
Guest joelb69 Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 it saves it in Storage, My Documents. (list view not tree) I doubt it will be there though because any file over 500k seems to just vanish. the probelm has been posted a few times on here, just look for some of the posts with bluetooth problems. im not sure if anyone found a solution.
Guest Dr Who Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 They should be able to activesync the file for you via the USB or Bluetooth.
