Default 'orange strip' photo keeps re-appearing

I am suffering from the really annoying 'orange strip' issue on caller ID photos on incoming calls. I keep unassigning photo but everytime I reboot the phone they are back!

Anyway to make the change permanent?

This problem has surfaced before - I am fairly sure it was resolved. Try searching for IA Caller ID posts in the C500 forum.
