Hi, like it says in topic. If so, then that would explain why my phone defaults the ringtone after a while. Is there a registry setting I can change to keep the sd card powered at all times? Oh, and its a Mio 8380 running 2002. :)

Arggh i have the same problem too on my SPV Classic. After a while it seems it turns my sd off meaning my programs no longer work and my ringtones goback to default...VERY ANNOYING. Especialy cause i use a loud ringtone as my alarm clock lol many times late for work

hmmm, thats strange, ive never had any problems like that with my SPV or E100, I know E200 suffered from this with the update (was fine before that), and so far no probs like that with my C500 either.

in SPV e100 (experienced) the MMC/SD card will close or will default ONLY if your battery-life is low. that happens to me everytime it reaches 30% below so i still have to remove the card and insert it again. its just normal.... i think

there must be a registry setting somewhere that i could play with. even plugged in, when If the mio is closed (its a clamshell) for a while and then I open it, It wont even register the programs that I have installed on the sd card. if I eject the card and put it back in, or just wait a while it eventually 'power up' the card? someone out there help out please

Didnt everyone moan about the Original SPV NOT powering off the SD and killing your battery really quick? I think thats why it now does post update!
