Guest nora2003 Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Ive eventually managed to connect to the internet through my pc's broadband, what I need to know now is can I use msn and get my emails over it aswell?
Guest zeta101 Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 yes for msn, and i think so for email too (but not something ive tried) why dont you just try? :) you can tell if it tries to connect to gprs because the top righ icon will change to show its using gprs, so why not fire up msn and see if it works without using gprs.
Guest nora2003 Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 well thatsthe thing I have and it didnt work, I thought I might have to change some mysterious settings! I cant understand why though because I can view any webpage, any more ideas?
Guest ferret Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Should work, Internet connections set to Pass through / Automatic and the little checkbox should be ticked in ActiveSync (can't remember what is exactly called but it's quite obvious). Zeta's idea is good or you could put in Flight Mode to be extra sure!
Guest nora2003 Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 oops my mistake, tried it again and it worked fine, well this now leads me onto my next question, over bt can I access my pc's hd and open folders and what not?
