Guest Sage Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 I need someone to make me a program that makes the Up Direction on my SPV E200 the Down Direction. My Down button is broken and i cant get it repaired due to where iam in th world. I would be eternally grateful if someone could do this. O:)
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I am no good at programming, but I had an E200 like that once and I found that if I carefully lifted the joystick it worked fine. There was a post some time ago that showed if you where careful you could 'lift' the joystick a few mm's by gently pulling it (almost telescopic), but I cant find it to show you what I mean.
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 http://www.airfagev.com/forum_view.asp?msg_id=60288 Have a look at this post on the Airfagev site. I'm thinking of finding some of this contact cleaner but have ordered a C500 anyway.
Guest Sage Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 omg! i found out its goddamn software problem!!! when i go into the DIAG screen of the bootloader the down direction works fine!!! so how the hell do i fix it!? i tried reinstalling the update and the problem remains.. what the hell is going on?
Guest the_ugly_north Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Hard reset it to see if that helps
Guest Brody Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 A Hard Reset normally saves the day!! :)
Guest Sage Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 not this time.. no love.. took off battery for 5 minutes, took out memory card.. did hard reset from DIAG in bootloader.. no luck.. :) iam about to try taking out the watch battery..
Guest Brody Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 That is suprising considering it works in the bootloader! VERY odd!
Guest Sage Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 am i able to flash the e200 a O2 XPhone / QTek 8080 OS/ROM?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 Yes it is possible but not straight forward. Playing around with ROMs can kill phones so be careful. I breifly mentioned this in another post last night in this section. http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=1154...=asc&highlight=
