C500 Text Smileys

Hi all:

I have just received a C500 and am just wondering if there are any programs that are available so i can include smileys in my text messages.

I feel all lost with no smileys :cry: :cry: :cry:

this might sound a dumb question, but can most phones RECEIVE smileys? There's not much point in having them in the text if your mates can't see them!

Its not a stupid question but alot of ppl that i text do have smiley facilities so theres not problem.

i had someone asking this question on a german smartphone board yesterday, thats why i could answer it that quick.

it doesnt actually insert a graphical smiley though, text messages can only consist of text, and so it changes the smiley to a textual representation of the smiley (which are already supported in the t9 dictionary, just press 1 three times with T9 mode on and you can select the smiley you want) :)

I have tried that Midnight but it doesnt seem to work for me. Do you need a specific dictionary to do it?

I have installed the software and it says that it was installed ok but i cant find it on the phone :cry: .

Do you know if it works on the C500 and its interactions are as follows:

Launch SmartInsert with the Record button.

Go from panel to panel with the volume buttons (+/-).

Navigate between icons with the cursor.

Click Action to insert your smiley.

i cant launch the programme??????

I found the smileys on my C500 by accident today LOL..... try activating voice notes :?
