Guest Thruk Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 Don't know whether this is old news, but by registering for the Hexacto newsletter at www.hexacto.com , you get $5 off one of their games. (And you can unsubscribe immediately if you like). So, instead of paying £10 for Tennis Addict, I paid $9.95. With even a rudimentary grasp of exchange rates, I think I saved over £3. Which is nice.
Guest captain9fingers Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 I dont have a credit card so I cant even but Interstellar flames for a quid
Guest Thruk Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 Life without a credit card? I would die. (Quite literally in fact: Tesco online don't take cheques)
Guest captain9fingers Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 If I had a credit card I would most likley run up a huge bill buying loads of gadgets and things then end up struggling to pay them off for many years to come. By the time I would have paid them cards off everything I bought on them would be antique. If I have no cards I have no debts, appart from the mortgage :D
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 OK, but how about a Visa debit card? Much more useful than switch! :D P
Guest HelloDave Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 Us switch users are discrimanated against! Why don't some sites accept it - b******s! I've got a credit card as well, but it means remembering to pay the bill every month :x
Guest Emad Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Thanks for that Thruk, Slurp for $2.. Much better value than Interstellar Flames for £1 :D Mind you, I programming something with almost exactly the same gameplay both in java and for my palm vx. Certification, bah..
