Hi all!

I've recently bought a Orange SPV Classic from a friend, simlock free. Yet now I have O2 (Telfort) prepaid. The phone works fine, but I can't seem to get GPRS internet and MMS to work.

I live in the Netherlands, I don't know if that matters for the settings,

but does anyone know the settings I need?

Thanks!

Welcome to the site :)

Have you asked your network provide to enable GPRS and MMS

on your account? Also check that they do support the network.

Thos settings are for O2 UK.

I should imagine DrPhac wants the settings for Telfort in the Netherlands.

A quick search on Google threw up this http://www.kh-gps.de/gprsset.htm

Or try looking on https://www.telfort.nl - not bspeaking Dutch I can't tell if the settings are there but I'm sure they are somewhere.

Thanks guys,

But the settings are indeed for UK, so they don't work. The website telfort.nl doesn't give any valuable information; at least, none of the information actually works  , so i'll try to phone the helpdesk guys tommorrow

Thanks anyway though

You could try setting up the phone with the standard Telfort GPRS WAP and proxy settings and see if that works. Settings were taken from http://www.telfort.nl/app/mijntelefoon/ot a/cc/anderswap.php#

Hope it works :)

thanks for the effort martin, but I just tried all the settings, no effect at all.

I already tried phoning Telfort customer service, yet right after i told them i used the windows mobile 2002 they told me they had a service defect

I'll try phoning them again monday or tuesday, and i will be a lot harder to get rid of ^_^ .
