Mini SD Card for C500 - Will this one work?

Hi all,

Has anyone bought one of these from ebuyer?

They seem incredibly good value for money. There are a couple of feedback comments from E200 users where a s/w upgrade was required, but I'm keen to know if anyone has used one of these off the shelf?

I will be using it primarily for video storage, and so access speed is important.

You mean ebuyer.com? I can't seem to find any miniSD's there. There are two sorts of Mini SD's out there that I'm aware of; kingston and sandisk. I have a 512mb Kingston which works fine. The 16mb trydisk supplied with the c500 is from Sandisk, so that brand should work as well.

As for dataspeeds - via the phone it's always slow. Too slow for me. For bigger files I prefer to use my cardreader. It means disassembling the phone every big file, but if you're in a hurry it's the quickest way.

i searched 4 sd cards and the description says it can be used in smartphones. there's also a user comment from an e200 user, so it must be the smaller one that fits in the c 500?

I got a Kingmax 256MB mini-sd from ebuyer.com, (this one) it's working fine in my C500 as I speak.

bought a sandisk 256mb from modacos shop and it works brilliantly got it in use now ;-)

I have the 256MB Mini SD Kingmax card from eBuyer also, and so far its wroking sweetly.

Cost me £27.03 or thereabouts, as I opted for the free Standard Delivery...

It has a 5 year Warranty, so that's good enough for me...

My 256 Kingmax card turned up yesterday, and I watched my first movie on the SPV this morning, using PocketDIVX to encode - I just need to perfect the settings to avoid the occasional lip synch problems.
