C500 t9 dictionary, can I sync a message to add custom words

A clever workaround on the E200, in order to get custom words into the phone's t9 memory, was to type them as an email message on a pc, then use active sync to copy it to the phone, then move it to the SMS folder, open it, edit it, and each word got automatically entered into the t9 memory of the phone.

Can anyone tell me if there is any way to do this kind of thing with the new C500, as it doesn't seem to be working for me and i sure don't want to type hundreds of custom words out on the phone if i can help it...
