C500 US Purchase Question

A friend on mine in the London has offered to purchase one of the MoDaCo PAYG C500 phones and ship it over to me.

I know he'll have to give Orange his information to get the phone, so when he ships it over to me will he have to call back to Orange and cancel anything?

I don't want him to incur any charges if I can help it.

Also will he have to Unlock it before he sends it too me or can I do it once I recieve it?

you should not have to activate the simcard, all that is needed is the simlock to be removed by florin ( can be done in the usa as well if you have a paypal account ).which needs a simcard from a different provider :wink: :wink:
