i bought a mpx200 of ebay. the only thing it came with was the wall charger which kinda made me mad. i use the infrared device to upload pictures but now ihave no space and i need to delete some of the pictures i uploaded onto the phones storage. since it didnt come with a manual i got one from motorola.com and found out that i can delete them though the file manager. one thing, seems as though the previous owner of this phone delted it. now i dont know where to get it or where i can buy a cd with it on it. can someone please help me. i am also having problems syncing my phone to my pc via usb. thanks alot for the help everyone.

Welcome to the site :)

The MPX200 does not come with a file manager as standard and the

manual is probably refering to using your computers file manager

via Activsync.

The best file manager in my opinion is Smart Explorer from

www.binarys.com who also make the excellent Task Manager

As for other cables you can buy 5pin mini USB sync and charge

cables from ebay fairly cheaply.

thanks a lot for the info, but i am using a mini usb cable to connect from my phone to my pc. when i got to activesync and click sync it says "you must establish a partnership with a pc before you can synchronize information." i am using the mini usb cable from my digital camera since there the same connector, do you think it could be the type of cable or am i doing something wrong?

Check the pins on the mini USB end before you use the cable

again as you may cause of have caused damage.

Most camera USB cables are 7pin mini USB and not 5 and so not compatable.

just put them on the storage card, the use jeyo personaliser from www.jeyo.com to set it as your ring tone.just put them on the storage card, the use jeyo personaliser from www.jeyo.com to set it as your ring tone.

Pigo you must be lucky in Holland as the UK and US do not have a file manager.

Squall you do not need Jeyo to select ringtones from the storage card, just place them in My documents and they can be selected.

im aware of that but its easier with jeyo as thy dont have to be in my docs.

Hi ogol. Welcome to MoDaCo. ^_^

What's your phones ROM version? You can check that through Programs > Settings > About

If you have c500, e200 or Mpx200, you can openline your unit thru this link:

http://www.imei-check.co.uk/

If you have Smart Amazing Phone running ROM 1.7.13.0, this link might help you:

For ROM 1.8 downgrade procedures, check this link:
