Guest spackrackman Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Hi, In preperation for the wonderfull looking MPX(can anyone confirm if it has WiFi) I bought an mpx200 to have a play with windows mobile.. Emmm interesting.. Some good and bad points, I am not sure microsoft have tried there best here, but I do like the fact that I can play with it.. The problem, I bought the phone new, and it had a nice program that allowed me to view all pictures in thumbnail and I could run a slideshow or most importanly tell it to set it to be my background picture, So I basically could view all my pictures in one go, pick the one i liked and then set it as my backdrop(homescreen). I Upgraged to 2003 for various reasons(resending of sms is one) and now i dont know what I had, but I have not got it now.. All I can use in IE to view pics.. What have I lost? What can I use instead or can I get this program back.... Please help.. I tried a hard reset, Cheers JOnnie
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Welcome to the site :) The MPX200 is not anything to do with Microsoft as such they only make the initial OS it's the phone companies that produce the finished product. A Hard Reset will not bring anything back from 2002 as you have replaced it with 2003. Any applications you have on the MPX200 should be on the cd that came with your phone. The most used app for viewing used to be IA album but this is no longer available to buy since HTC bought them out. It is now only available with new handsets. Your best bet is to have a browse on www.handango.com as there are one or two other picture applications available.
Guest Tyl Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 On the original CD that comes with your phone there is the program. I had the same issue..
